Job Description: HR Manager (Fixed Term Cover) Location: Westminster, London Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (Dec/Jan handover - end May 2026) Hours: Monday-Friday, office-based Start Date: Immediate (subject to DBS and pre-employment checks) Reports to: Head of Operations / Senior Leadership Team We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to cover a maternity/fixed-term absence in our school. This role requires full expertise in school HR and payroll, with preference for candidates holding a CIPD qualification and experience with CIPHR MIS and payroll systems. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end recruitment and onboarding of staff Production of HR/MIS reports for People Committee Note-taking at People-related committees Payroll processing and management Day-to-day HR support and staff enquiries Conducting investigations and updating policies Maintaining HR systems and records (including SCR and safeguarding) Coordinating training distribution and monitoring compliance Supporting ad hoc HR projects as required Requirements: Significant experience in school HR and payroll CIPD qualification preferred Proficient with CIPHR MIS and payroll system Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills Application: CVs to be sent directly to [].
